    With over 25 years of experience as a guitarist, composer, and educator, Andisheh Hozhabr—known artistically as AndishiA—brings an exceptional depth of musical knowledge and passion to the Toronto Guitar School. A self-taught musician who began playing guitar at age 8, AndishiA has since released seven official albums and four solo records, showcasing his unique blend of technical mastery and emotional expression.

     

    He is the author of the bilingual book Easy to Learn Guitar Theory, available in both Farsi and English, which has helped countless students understand complex musical concepts with clarity and ease. Beyond music, AndishiA is a skilled video producer, painter, and documentarian, with a portfolio that includes 27 guitar lesson videos and two music-related documentaries.

     

    Deeply inspired by virtuosos like Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, and Vinnie Moore, AndishiA is passionate about helping guitarists unlock their full potential. Whether working with beginners or advanced players, his teaching approach is intuitive, customized, and deeply rooted in real-world musical application.

     

    He is currently active as a solo artist and collaborator, working on cross-cultural projects and mentoring aspiring musicians both in-person and online.
