Marcus has 20+ years experience performing in pop, rock, folk, classical and jazz
ensembles. He is a graduate of York University’s music program with a specialty in
composition and music theory. He teaches acoustic and electric guitar, upright bass,
mandolin, clarinet, violin and songwriting and arranging. Marcus is currently the
principal double bassist of the Kawartha String Orchestra and is premiering 2 new
pieces in April 2025 and performs with Jazz Junction in Peterborough ON.
