Band Auditions : In-Person / Online – FREE!

Finally its time! Please join us for the Toronto Guitar School’s 1st in-person / online Band Auditions of 2021. It’s always FREE to audition but you must pre-register for this event by sending an email to the Toronto Guitar School (admin@mintmusic.ca) or phoning us at 416-707-1077 no later than Thursday, March 25th at 5 PM. Those that have not pre-registered will not be admitted. Due to social distancing requirements, only 20 spots are available as strict social distancing and PPE measures will be in place.

Please email us to book your online audition with a Toronto Guitar School Instructor no later than Monday, March 22nd at 5 PM.

All instruments (Vocals, Piano/Keys, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Ukulele, Woodwind and Brass Instruments etc) are welcome! We have bands for every level and age from teens to adults.

WHAT TO EXPECT

During your audition, a Toronto Guitar School instructor will interview you about your past experience, playing ability, musical interests and hear you play. After the audition session, each participant will be put into groups to get ready for band rehearsals!

HOW IT WORKS

Bring your instrument to the audition so you can meet and jam with others. We will provide all the necessary amps and sound equipment you will need for the audition. A drum set, piano and/or keyboard, guitar amps and a PA will be available for those that need it.

Members that come to the Band auditions will have the opportunity to attend weekly rehearsals at a mutually convenient time. Every effort is made to put everyone in a band following the audition. Weekly rehearsals are 1 hour in length and range in cost from $20 – $35 per session depending on the size of the group and the number of instructors involved.

Other performance opportunities, professional recording, and video services also exist for those that are interested.
