This course will expand your Ukulele song repertoire of timeless festive favourites just in time for the holidays. This 4 class ukulele series is suitable for beginner and intermediate levels. Classes run every Thursday at 7:00 pm from Dec 1st onwards at the Toronto Guitar School’s Yonge and Dundas street location and will be full of playing, singing and exploring the joy and versatility of the ukulele.
If you don’t already have a ukulele yet that is not a problem. Ukuleles will be available for sale or purchase at every class. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to buy or rent a Ukulele and be sure to arrive 10 minutes prior to the class so we can have everything ready for you.

All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey), Happy Christmas (John Lennon), Santa Baby (Madonna), Santa Claus Is Coming to Town (Bruce Springsteen), White Christmas (Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (Sam Smith), Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home) – U2, Happy New Year, Wonderful World, Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen), I’ll Be Home For Christmas, Auld Lang Syne (The New Year’s Anthem), Frosty the Snowman, Feliz Navidad, Winter Wonderland, Here Comes Santa Claus, Stand By Me, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Jingle Bells, and others.

Glen Alan
A graduate of the Humber College Jazz Vocal program, Glen Alan has performed in venues in Canada, the US and Europe. Glen has his Grade 8 Piano Certification with honours from the Royal Conservatory and also plays the guitar and ukulele. Glen began playing ukulele in his father’s ukulele band when he was just a young boy. Glen Alan is also a prolific songwriter who has performed and recorded his original songs for over 20 years. Some of the people Glen performed and worked with include Keifer Sutherland, David “Soulfingaz” Williams (Kaos), Don Ross, Jackie Richardson, Wendell Ferguson, Brian Dickenson, Natalie McMaster, Mark Dubois, Lenny Soloman, Steven T Hunter, Tim Bovaconti, Paul Delong (Earth Wind and Fire), Suba Sankaran and Dylan Bell.
In 1996 Glen founded Mint Music (formerly known as Find A Way) and the Toronto Guitar School in 2014. As a passionate educator and musician Glen Alan has been involved in the Toronto scene for over 20 years. As a voice, piano, ukulele, and guitar teacher Glen has helped thousands of individuals from children to adults sing and play more effectively. Glen brings a wealth of over 20 years teaching experience, passion, and fun to every class he instructs.
