Jessica LajnerGuitar and Voice Instructor
Jessica is a professional guitarist based in Toronto. After years performing everywhere from cruise liners to theatre orchestra pits, supporting recording artists on stage, and lending her sound to countless studio sessions, she has found one constant throughout her career — her love of teaching.

Starting her own musical journey at age six, and now with over 15 years of experience as a guitar instructor, Jessica brings the same passion and versatility to her lessons that she does to her performances. An eclectic player at heart, she enjoys exploring and teaching a wide range of styles – from pop, rock, blues, and folk to classical, and plenty in between. Her approach is warm, patient, and infused with a good sense of humor, making lessons both engaging and confidence-building.

Jessica believes that developing musical skill and self-assurance go hand in hand. She curates each lesson to her students’ individual goals and learning styles, ensuring that every guitarist – whether a beginner or an advanced player, feels supported and inspired. With a classical background through the Royal Conservatory of Music, she is also well-versed in RCM examination preparation and has successfully guided students to achieve First Class Honours.

When she’s not performing or teaching, you’ll likely find Jessica out with her two massive golden retrievers, enjoying long walks and discovering new music along the way.
