Our Beginner Guitar Course is especially designed for beginner guitarists with little or no experience playing guitar. This popular beginner guitar course makes learning the guitar fun, engaging and rewarding.

The Toronto Guitar School has taught close to half a million beginner, intermediate and advanced guitar courses, private lessons and workshops to our students over the years. Consequently, we know a thing or two about how to provide an amazing quality beginner guitar course for our clients. Our beginner guitar course is an economical way to introduce yourself or someone you care about to the beauty, versatility and power of the acoustic guitar.

Requirements:

For our beginner guitar course no prior knowledge of the guitar is necessary, just a willingness to have fun and make some new friends! If you don’t own a guitar, don’t worry, once you prepay for the guitar course we will happily secure your guitar rental based on your needs, body size, and stylistic preferences, and have it waiting for you at one of our trusted music retail partners. To the beginner guitarist, picking out a guitar can be overwhelming! Guitarists of all levels have come to trust the unbiased opinion of the professionals here at the Toronto Guitar School. If you already have a guitar but the strings haven’t been changed in 6 months, or it needs a setup, or a little tender loving care, we can help with that as well!

Your musical journey may begin with the Beginner Guitar Course, but it is our hope this experience will inspire a lifelong appreciation of music with continued weekly private lessons, participation in our regular student concerts, rock band and ensemble programs, music workshops, and other school related events. The Toronto Guitar School provides one of the most dynamic musical communities out there for you to learn and grow with!

Location:

All In-Person Beginner Guitar Classes are taught at our 116 Bond Street Location (near Yonge and Dundas) during the weeknights and on weekends.

Cost:

All Beginner Guitar Courses are 1 hour in length and run for 10 weeks. The discounted price of $280 applies if payment is received prior to the start date of the beginner guitar course. RSVP early to save money and avoid disappointment!
